About the SANAMI
The Sydney Acoustic Neuroma and Menigioma Institute was conceived to address the lack of a comprehensive centre to manage these complex tumours that occur in the brain. Acoustic neuroma, meningiomas and other tumours of the base of skull ( the bone on which the brain sits) are complex. As such no single clinician can deal with the wide variety and complex nature of these lesions. Modern day management of these lesions demands a team-based approach, with close collaboration between team members, to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The SANAMI only employs surgeons with the highest quality sub-specialist training, who are well respected and experienced clinicians in the management of these complex brain tumours.
