What to bring

  • Any CT/MRI scans you have had
  • Any other tests Hearing Tests, Balance Tests, Blood tests you may have had that are relevant

What to Expect
Your appointment typically lasts for 30 to 45 minutes. Your SANAMI surgeon will undertake an extensive medical evaluation and a detailed examination of your CT and MRI scan images before determining a diagnosis. All of the possible treatment options will be discussed in detail and questions will be answered thoroughly, so please feel free to bring a list.

Following your first evaluation, your SANAMI surgeon may recommend further imaging tests or another opinion from a team member.

Typically two SANAMI surgeons are involved in managing complex brain tumour or brain vessel problems and so this may require further appointments. Our staff will ensure that any further xray or medical appointments are undertaken in a very timely fashion to determine your treatment plan as soon as possible.

If surgery is recommended and you agree with this assessment, then our SANAMI staff members will organize this for you on the day of your appointment.

At the SANAMI we look forward to providing you with excellence and the best possible outcomes for your complex brain problem.
